You do everything right, you keep your new phones under wraps and then this happens – a leakster comes and reveals all the new models in all the new colors just hours before showtime. Evan Blass has shared images of all four new iPhone 12 models and even the new HomePod mini.

If you've read out What to expect article, you'll know that these are the five new devices we expect to see today (as Apple already unveiled new iPads and Watches, new headphones will come later). Blue seems to be the hero color for this generation, replacing the Midnight Green of the 11 series.

Feast your eyes on the iPhone 12 Pro Max in Blue, Gold, Graphite and Silver.

The smaller iPhone 12 Pro will be available in the same colors. This one and the vanilla iPhone 12 are expected to become available first (pre-orders starting in a week) while the Pro Max and the Mini will be announced today but will arrive later.

The vanilla iPhone 12 and the 12 mini have a wider palette of colors to choose from: Black, Blue, Green, Red and White. This is par for the course, the Pro models tend to be more reserved.

Speaking of the iPhone 12 mini, the notch doesn't appear to be smaller as some rumors claimed. In fact, it looks quite big on the 5.4' screen with limited space on the side of it.

As for the HomePod mini, it's expected to be a $100 alternative to the $300 HomePod. It will use a newer chipset that supports UWB (so it can track distance and direction to other gadgets, including the iPhone 11 and up).

I think we've established it's a Sony TOF sensor. It is not LiDAR although Apple calls it lidar to make it sound special.
